We had a beautiful day here on Friday, perfect for pool and fun. Ben got this storage bucket and climbed inside. We told him it was his turtle shell so he would not get wet. He would crawl toward Josh, then drop when Josh sprinkled him with the hose. It was cute when Ben got just close enough to the hose he very carefully started pulling the hose away. He got back at Josh...Trust me!!

Of course Nic had to try it too, and as you can see Chris even thought he needed protection from the hose. The kids had a great time.

I CAN SEW TOO!!!!

Tim, Nic, and I went to a few garage sales this morning. We found this sewing machine and all the accessories, including scrapes of fabric, for only $2.00. Nic really wanted to "needle" a blanket like mom. So of course I got the machine. He could not wait to get home and "needle". He made a blanket for each one of us, and even a pillow for himself. He was so proud.

Nic asked for some paper earlier today...so I gave him a few, thinking he was going to color.......I hear the front door open....I quickly looked and saw Nic going out with this mess bag over his shoulders, (notice the rolled papers).....I asked him what he was doing...this was the response.."I have to go deliver the paper".....I laughed at that....Then I heard the door again..He says.."I need to go deliver the mail".....He was pretending to be a paper/mail boy.....SO CUTE.....A great imagination...

JUST CLOWNING AROUND

The Rose Festival had a Magic Show and a Juggler. Here are Josh and Chris trying to get into the action of CLOWNING around.

We went to the Portland Rose Festival this weekend. They had a Dinosaur Exhibit, which was wonderful. Ben at first was skeptical of the whole Dinosaurs looking so real, but then he realized they were not and thought they were cool.

Nic on the other hand was scarred to death. He wanted out of there. (he even had nightmares). Poor guy.

Chris had his last band concert of the year for Skyview High School. He was excited for the night. I think the word he used to describe his mood was "hyper".

It has been a long season starting with band camp that was 9am-9pm Monday thru Friday for 2 weeks, playing for football games(many in the rain), parades, and concerts.

I enjoy watching him play, and hearing the music. Fun Times.
